GOIL Tema Markerting Zone has organized a promotion at the Dawhenya Service Station to reward loyal customers.
The promotional activity was organized to appreciate customers who have accumulated high loyalty points on tally cards through frequent fuel purchases.
Some gift items included Television Sets, rice cookers, blenders among other household items.
The Group CEO and Managing Director of GOIL PLC, Mr Edward Abambire Bawa has
toured the Tema Lubes Oil Company, TLOC, to acquaint himself with operations of the
lubricants manufacturing company. He was accompanied by some key members of
Management.
The visit also afforded Mr. Bawa the opportunity to deepen the collaboration between
the two companies for mutual benefit.
GOIL is share-holder of TLOC and sources the majority of its mineral-based lubricants
from the company.
Mr. Bawa lauded the efforts of TLOC in ensuring the delivery of quality products,
reiterating that it resonates with GOIL’s own quality ethos. He assured the TLOC of
GOIL’s commitment to fostering closer partnership and teamwork with TLOC. He was
hopeful TLOC would achieve more profitability which would translate into more
dividends to shareholders.
The Managing Director of TLOC, Mr. Amos Donkor, described the relationship between
the two companies as good and encouraged GOIL to increase its lifting of more
products from the company.
As part of the visit, Mr. Bawa toured the GO Bitumen Plant, GOIL Liquefied Bottling Plant, the Ghana Bunkering Services (GBS), and the Central Storage Depot located at Tema. These strategic visits were aimed at assessing the progress of operations, identifying areas for improvement, and engaging directly with the leadership and frontline staff of each facility.
In addition, the Group CEO paid a courtesy call to the GOIL Zonal Office at Kpone-Tema, where he interacted with staff and encouraged continued excellence in service delivery.
Accompanying Mr. Bawa during the tour were some members of the management team.
Mr. Bawa’s engagement forms part of a broader leadership agenda to ensure operational efficiency, staff motivation, and alignment of all subsidiaries with GOIL’s long-term strategic goals.

Denis Amui, Head of Operations, Head of Fuels Marketing, Mr Augustine Boateng, and the Head of Technical and Special Products, Ing. Joshua Duodu. Others were the Head of IT, Mr Roger Baah, Mr Mark Ofori Amanfo, Technical Advisor to the Group CEO & MD, Dr Alhassan M. Kamil, Business Development Manager, and Mr. Robert Kyere, Public Relations Manager.
The discussions focused on practical strategies to ensure seamless product supply and operations, improve communication channels, and reinforce the company’s commitment to its frontline partners.
The meeting concluded with a shared understanding to continuously strengthen the partnership between management and dealers to improve operational efficiency and sustain growth.
